Spot Verticals

We capture one or several vertical images of a specific area or site and deliver high resolution images on CD or via the web.

Large Area Mosaics

Here several and sometimes dozens of images are stitched together and provided in a merged format.

The mosaicked image is roughly to scale but does not take into perspective the contours of the earth.

Ortho-rectified Mapping

With ortho-rectification, multiple images are mosaicked or stitched together as well as corrected to nearly exact scale. Corrections are made to ensure the contours of the earth are accounted for in ortho-rectification.

Equipment and Capabilities

Cal Aerial Imaging utilizes a custom designed vertical digital capture system mounted through the belly port of our Cessna 185 photo-ship. We bring you images individually as spot verticals and multiple images mosaicked or merged into one composite planimetric image.

Our aerial photography is performed with Canons' top of the line digital cameras and lenses, the professional standard in digital imaging.
